Artist's Statement
I'm an artist, a working mother, a victim, energy, a case reference, a soldier, a zombie hunter, a green and pink elefant - always somebody's perspective.
But my thoughts, emotions, and body are mine, voicing my own perspective in performing and visual arts. All this is pouring into drama projects, writing, and visual arts.
Recent paintings have become a reflection of a mindful life.
My poems are reflecting my experience as a victim of the not-so-Great British justice system. My drive for changes is drawn from a process: the victim-mill that grinds our bones to make its living.
My motivation is the diversity of London, which enables me to fulfill my professional, personal, and creative potential.
My inspiration, however, is London with its greater suburbs and the creativity of its people.
