Katrin's art is inspired by the contemporary British Artscape as well as the European art and culture of the early 20th century including Bauhaus, Kafka, and Brecht. Her early work was inspired by the 1980s pop culture.

 

She has lived and exhibited in Bremen, Dresden, Oldenburg (all Germany), Melbourne (Australia), and London.

 

Katrin has a degree in Literature and Linguistics, Philosophy, and Geography. Also trained in running theatre groups, her projects involve drama and stage directing.

 

With her background as well as personal and professional experience Katrin aims at showing the connection between art and emotional & mental health journeys.
